Have a question?

Can you create artwork for me?    Answer

Once upon a time...

Sweat, anyone?Since 1997, Albany, NY-based drummer Jim Feck has been creating custom bass drum heads for himself and a select group of friends and musicians. As an actively gigging drummer, Jim was constantly being asked at shows, "Woah, man! Where'd you get that head?!" Only after hearing this question for what seemed to be the millionth time did he decide that maybe, just maybe, there could be a market for them...

As a professional Web developer and graphic designer, Jim knew that there would be a huge potential market on the Internet, but he felt that the technology just wasn't up to par to create heads he would be proud to put his name on. 150 DPI prints just don't cut it.

However, in the 10+ years we have been creating heads, the technology has matured to the point where quality and durability are no longer an issue. DrumART.com custom bass drum heads are made using a state-of-the-art 1440 DPI printer/cutter, and their quality is unrivaled. Check out our testimonials section to hear what our customers have to say!

In 2006, the company expanded to bring friend, fellow drummer and Web application wizard John Carril into the DrumART.com fold as Chief Technology Officer and resident code monkey. John brings both his formidable Web development skills (skillz?) and decades of drumming experience to the table. Just wait until you get a load of DrumART.com 2.0 slated for release in early 2007. It is literally unbelievable.

Our combined years of experience in bands, on the road and in the trenches have cemented DrumART.com's position as the undisputed leader in the custom bass drum head industry. From the world's first removable and reusable custom logos (CustomPEELERS) to our new line of HybridHEADS which combine stunning digital printing with mind-bending advanced material finishes, DrumART.com has set the standard for innovation and quality. Right down to the way we create our heads to ensure maximum resonance and minimal tonal change in the head -- no detail is unworthy of our full attention and consideration.

And while our competition doesn't like us telling you about it, we sell our heads for far less than others because we're working hard to provide what we believe is a much needed service to our percussive brethren. Our belief is that our loyalty to our customers will be rewarded by their loyalty in return.

Ultimately, we know that making our customers happy is the key to our past, present and future success. Unlike our competitors, DrumART.com is not an afterthought of an already busy sign shop. Drummers are our focus and meeting their needs is our business. Let us prove it to you!

We're less expensive and more responsive because
DrumART.com is all we do!

How inexpensive are we? Try $89.95 for a fully customized design on YOUR CHOICE of Aquarian drum head. We don't force a single head choice on you, and we don't charge extra for the incidentals. Port cutting? Free. Image scanning? Free. Image clean-up? Free.

And how responsive are we? Try shipping within one to three days of final artwork approval. That's right, DAYS.

The bottom line is that we're not in this to get rich, and we're not in it to work with rock stars. We have the lowest prices in the industry, and refusing to play the endorser game helps us keep it that way.

Sure, we love it when a "big dog" decides to buy a DrumART.com custom bass drum head, but certainly not because it's cool to work with rock stars! We love it because it is a validation of the things we believe in and the way we do business. They use DrumART.com because they get from us what they don't get from others, and because they want to support our values and principles.

Our mission is to have DrumART.com custom bass drum heads on the kick drums of EVERY aspiring and professional drummer in the world. Period.

You know you want one -- let us make you one today!
