Music Equipment Retailers |
- George's Drum Shop
From what I can gather, a better drum shop around there ain't. George is a regular (even prolific) contributor to the rec.music.makers.percussion newsgroup and is an all-around good guy. Give him a call to get some phat pricing on some phat drumstuff. Ya hear me? :)

- Rik's Music
Looking for recording gear? E-Drums? Live sound reinforcement equipment? Rik's probably has it, and at some of the best prices you'll ever find. No kidding. Don't believe us? Call them for a quote on something you've had your eye on. If they carry it, I'm willing to bet they've got the best price that you can find!

Great Drum Sites |
- Ghostnote.net
Ghostnote.net is a kick-ass website dedicated to the custom drum builder. But that's not to say it's not a great resource for just about any drummer! Their forum is top-notch, their "Ask the Guru" section featuring Q&A with George Lawrence is very interesting, and their giveaways are killer. Plus, they're just good guys. You really should check them out!
|
- Official RMMP Site
RMMP (rec.music.makers.percussion) is an active and important usenet newsgroup for drummers of any stripe. If you're looking for good information on just about anything percussive, chances are that the folks on this newsgroup can help. RMMP.net is the supporting site for the newsgroup, and it's full of interesting info. Check it out, and then go check out RMMP!!!

Drum Head Manufacturers |
- Aquarian
Aquarian makes some great heads, especially their Regulator ported resonant kick drum head. That floating foam ring doohickey is way cool. Check them out here.

- HOLZ, Ltd.
HOLZ Snapperz are the original (and best) bass drum port protectors on the planet. Gayle and the folks at HOLZ, Ltd. have been nothing but supportive of DrumART, and we are very proud to offer their products as options on our industry-leading custom bass drum heads!

Albany, NY Local Links |
- C.R.U.M.B.S.
C.R.U.M.B.S. is the Capital Region Unofficial Musicians and Bands Site (hence the acronym). The site used to be a great listing of many of the best bands and musicians in the Albany area, but that part of the site has since gone defunct. Maybe (hopefully) they'll resurrect it sometime soon. In the meantime, the message board is a pretty cool place for local area musicians to hook up and shoot the shite.

- Metroland Magazine
Metroland Magazine is *the* alternative newsweekly for New York's Capital Region. Metroland is da bomb. You can get all kinds of info and insight from that paper that you won't find anywhere else. Plus, they named Jim's former band secretguy as 2002's Best Hard Rock Band, so they must be great, right?

Friends and Partners |
- PaulyRhythm.com
Paul is a client that has become a friend. He's a great guy and a MONSTER drummer. Check out his site, and especially his video and audio samples. Good, good stuff.

- Shawn Snow
Shawn Snow is a friend and the maniacal singer of our now-defunct band, hANDSOMERODNEY. Shawn is also a remarkably talented visual artist and painter. Check out his stuff, you will NOT be disappointed!
